Serves 20 ppl


  •  Four (4) cans of Bush's Grilling Beans (22oz)
  • 1/4 lb. smoked brisket, flat chopped (we used cooked bacon seasoned with a sweet KC rub)
  • 1/2 cup sweet onion, diced
  • Two (2) tbsp. yellow mustard
  • Two (2) tbsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sorghum or molasses
  • 1/2 cup KC style bbq sauce (sweet)


  • Prep your smoker at 325 degrees
  • Add sweet onions, mustard, chili powder, brown sugar, molasses, bbq sauce and cooked brisket/bacon to a smoker safe pot.  Mix well.
  • Add the beans with all ot their juices (it's important not to drain the beans)
  • Stir well and smoke uncovered for 1 1/2 hours
  • Enjoy!
