During the last two times smoking brisket, we used Val as the base for our dry rub and the results were absolutely out of this world! Combined with the delicious pecan smoke and fattiness of the brisket fat, the rub acquires a deep, roasted, aromatic quality that permeates throughout the meat, and helps up the brisket flavor game! We used Coy for the first time on Christmas Day. First we used on steak with salt and pepper. We really like it and wished we had used more. Then my son used it on chucked-lots if it. He loved the flavor too. A definite 5 out of 5 stars. ❤️
