Dottie Madden (aka: Dorothy, Mama, Aunt Dot, Big Grandma, GG) was a spitfire! A native Texan and World War II widow that was known to ring chickens’ necks, kill 6-foot rattle snakes and someone you never wanted to cross, especially when playing ponytail canasta. Many childhood memories were made on her ranch and although tough, she loved deeply and was a woman of faith. Grandma was the perfect spice of life that kept our family together and those who knew her are better for it.

I can not cook without Dottie

First of all- I don’t enjoy cooking - my husband does. But everytime I cook I MUST use Dottie. If I use anything else I feel like the dish does not turn out right. I have used this on seafood, beef, lamb, chicken, turkey , roasting veggies. It’s weird but I take my Dottie along when I go on vacation lol. This jar has traveled overseas, Cali, NY, Alberta Canada. Like I said I can’t cook ( live) without this beautiful spice mix Dottie. Never discontinue this please. I’m your customer for LIFE.

Glad to hear that you are enjoying Dottie. That seasoning was named after my grandmother and she was a world traveler, so she would be loving the fact that her namesake is still doing what she loved so dearly. We appreciate your business!
