Grilled Shrimp Po Boy

Serves five (5) ppl.


  • 2 1/3 lb. 15/20 Argentinean shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. Dottie Smoky Kickin' Cajun seasoning
  • Three (3) garlic cloves, minced
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Sub bread


  • Place shrimp in a large zip lock bag.
  • In a small bowl, mix olive oil, Dottie Smoky Kickin' Cajun seasoning, garlic cloves and lemon juice.  
  • Mix well and pour into the zip lock bag.
  • Once sealed, rub marinade around so that all of the shrimp are saturated.
  • Place in refrigerator for at least 45 minutes.
  • Spray a skillet or flattop with oil and cook shrimp for ??? on each side.  They should be pink in color with a light char.  Set aside.
  • Prepare your sandwich.  We used sub bread, remoulade sauce, lettuce, tomatoes and red onions.
  • Add shrimp and enjoy!
