Chili Verde Tacos | Pulled Pork

Serves approx. twenty (20) ppl.


  •  Seven (7) lbs. pork
  • 1/3 of our favorite Mexican seasoning blend
  • 1/3 of kosher salt
  • 1/3 16 mesh black pepper
  • Salsa Verde (see recipe here)
  • Tortillas
  • Avocado, to garnish
  • Red onion, to garnish
  • Cotija cheese, to garnish


  •  Place pork on a cutting board.  Coat with your favorite hot sauce and season all sides liberally.
  • Place in an aluminum pan and smoke at 250 degrees until you reach an internal temp of 165 degrees.
  • Cover pork with salsa Verde and pour extra in pan around meat.  Cover pan with aluminum foil and return to smoker until you reach an internal temp. of 202 degrees or probe tender.
  • Rest for 15-30 minutes.  Pull the pork with two forks so that it combines with the salsa Verde.
  • Serve on flour tortillas and garnish with avocado, red onions and cotija cheese.
