Serves six (6) ppl.
Ingredients:
- Fourteen (14) tbsp butter, sliced (total)
- Two (2) 15.25oz canned peaches (in syrup)
- One (1) 15.25oz yellow cake mix
- Cinnamon, to taste
- Vanilla ice cream (optional)
Directions:
- Prep coals and place eight (8) of them directly below your Dutch oven
- Melt six (6) tbsp butter on bottom of pan
- Add two (2) cans of peaches (with syrup)
- Sprinkle cinnamon on top, to taste
- Place yellow cake mix on top (covering peaches entirely) Note: Do not stir
- Evenly top cake mix with eight (8) tbsp. sliced butter
- Sprinkle additional cinnamon on top, to taste
- Cover with Dutch oven lid
- Place twelve (12) coals on top of lid (distribute evenly)
- Cook for 45 minutes. Turn Dutch oven lid twice, during cooking process, so coals cook each side evenly.
- Serve warm. Note: We like to top ours with vanilla ice cream
