Brisket Biscuit | Leftover Brisket Recipe

Serves approx. four (4) ppl.

Ingredients:

  •  2-3 cups leftover brisket, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  •  2-3 tbsp. of your favorite BBQ sauce
  •  1-2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  •  Two (2) jalapenos, cut, seeded, and sliced
  •  One (1) can of Pillsbury Grands Southern Homestyle Biscuits (8 count)
  •  ¼ cup butter, melted
  •  Coy Zesty Garlic and Herb seasoning, to garnish

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees (or whatever your biscuit instructions recommend)
  • Using a cutting board, chop brisket into 1/2-inch cubes.
  • Mix cut brisket, BBQ sauce and cheddar cheese in a medium size bowl.
  • Using a lightly floured surface, roll out biscuits (with a rolling pin) until each individual biscuit has approx. a 4-inch circumference.
  • Place two jalapeno slices in the middle each biscuit and cover with brisket mixture (leaving about 1 inch around the edges).
  • Pinch the edges together tightly to seal, bowl your hand and roll on a flat surface.
  • Place on a baking sheet and cook for 11-15 min. until golden brown (or whatever your instructions recommend)
  • Remove from over, coat with melted butter and top each with Coy Zesty Garlic and Herb seasoning. (order here)
